Mosquito Barrier is a very strong liquid garlic made from very potent garlic cloves. The garlic used in Mosquito Barrier is a very powerful variety which is much more potent than the garlic found in grocery stores (in fact, our lab people here refer to it as "super garlic"). Garlic has a natural sulphur which repels mosquitoes. Spraying garlic to keep insects away is not something new, farmers and master gardeners have been doing it for many generations.

 

Mosquito Barrier is a three pronged attack:

(1) It kills the adult mosquitoes.

(2) The garlic coated plants keep mosquitoes out of the area.

(3) It suffocates any mosquito larvae in standing water, such as puddles, under decks, water in tin cans or depressions in lawn, etc.

 

If there is NO STANDING WATER in the area use this formula:

Mix 4 ounces of Mosquito Barrier into one gallon of water. Stir well and spray about an hour before sundown.

 

• 1 gallon water
• 4 ounces Mosquito Barrier

 

If there is STANDING WATER in the area - add canola oil to the mixture using this formula:

For each one gallon of water, add 4 ounces of Mosquito Barrier plus 2 ounces of Canola Oil (found in your local grocery store's cooking oil section) and 1 teaspoon of Ivory liquid soap or any other non-scented liquid soaps (not detergents). Stir well and spray about an hour before sundown.

NOTE: The oil is used to put a coating of oil on the standing water to suffocate mosquito larvae. Soap helps the garlic oil mix well with water.

• 1 teaspoon liquid soap
